Mommy’s Best Games hints at Serious Sam: Double D content through pie

If there’s anything more exciting than new content, it’s dessert. Nathan Fouts offered a delicious new update to the Mommy’s Best Games developer blog. In it, he gives a taste of what the developer has been up to since returning from the Game Developers Conference earlier in the month.

It’s easy to get distracted by Fouts’ pie chart — mostly because it looks like an actual pie. Just looking at that thing will make anyone’s mouth water. If you manage to see through the flaky, fruity layers of blueberry and blackberry, you’ll see a majority of the pie is dedicated to “Serious Sam Double D (sorta) secret project.”

This would seem to support the assumption that Mommy’s Best is cooking up an update to the Steam version of Serious Sam Double D in the near-future. Or it could mean that the long-awaited Xbox 360 version of the game is almost ready to come out of the oven. Either way, Mommy’s Best isn’t done with Serious Sam just yet. I only wish the announcement had come on March 14, because Pi Day has long since passed.
