Octodad 2 Reaches Fundraising Goal

It seems that people love anthropomorphic sea mollusks and their antics. Young Horses proudly announced that they have reached their fundraising goal of $20,000 with days to spare. Octodad 2’s development will move forward, full speed ahead.
To celebrate this occasion, Young Horses is updating the original Octodad to include two new levels. Octodad PC owners can download this update immediately. Those who own the Mac version will receive the update sometime in September. Young Horses notes that the additional levels will offer a sense of closure to the original game’s story.
The Kickstarter campaign raised a total of $24,320 with 608 backers, including dozens of backers donating at least $100. One backer even ponied up $1,000 to take home a prized Octodad oil painting. However, it should be noted that nobody took up Young Horses on their generous offer of a life-sized Octodad costume. Sadly, while people want to play as Octodad, it appears that nobody wants to BE Octodad.
A target release date for Octodad 2 has not yet been announced.
